Erste Sees Forint Around 290/Euro at Year-End, Gaining in 2012

Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Erste Group Bank AG expects the Hungarian forint to trade around 290 per euro at the end of the year and to strengthen in 2012.

Government bond yields may be around 7.7 percent at year- end and may continue to decrease toward 7 percent in 2012, Erste economist Zoltan Arokszallasi said in an e-mailed report today. He didn’t clarify which maturities the projection referred to.
