Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- A Djiboutian policeman shot and injured Police Chief Colonel Abdillahi Abdi Farah in an attack at his office, Interior Minister Hassan Darar Houffaneh said.
Farah was shot in the head and is being treated at the Bouffard Hospital, a French military facility, in the capital, Djibouti City, Houffaneh said in a phone interview yesterday. The attacker, a non-commissioned police officer, was arrested and is being questioned, he said.
The motive of the attack hasn’t been established yet, Houffaneh said.
