Russia Has Sown 28 Million Acres of Winter Grains, Ministry Says

Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Russia had planted 11.3 million hectares (28 million acres) of winter grains as of yesterday, up from about 10 million hectares in the year-ago period, according to the Agriculture Ministry’s website.

Russia plans to sow 17.8 million hectares with winter crops this year, according to the data.
