H.K. Chief Secretary Tang’s Resignation Approved, Xinhua Reports

Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- China’s State Council approved Hong Kong Chief Secretary Henry Tang’s resignation and appointed Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Stephen Lam as Tang’s successor, Xinhua News Agency reported today.

Raymond Tam will take over Lam’s position, it said.
