Credit Agricole Won’t Need More Capital, CEO Chifflet Says

September 29, 2011

Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Credit Agricole SA Chief Executive Officer Jean-Paul Chifflet said the French bank doesn’t need a capital increase as it’s reducing its liquidity needs and “adapting” the group’s businesses.

“We don’t need a capital increase,” Chifflet said on BFM radio today. The bank doesn’t need state aids either, he said.
