China Windpower Rises Up to 63%; Firm Unaware of Reason for Move

Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- China WindPower Group Ltd. said it’s unaware of reasons for its share-price move after the stock rose as much as 63 percent, the biggest increase since March 1999, in Hong Kong morning trading.

The shares were 27 percent higher at 40.5 Hong Kong cents as of 11:19 a.m. on the city’s stock exchange. The company is not involved in negotiations related to acquisitions and isn’t aware of any other matter of a price-sensitive nature, it said in a statement.
