Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Brazil’s inflation could be above the top of policy makers’ target range this year, Carlos Hamilton, central bank economic policy chief, said.
The central bank’s projection is for 6.4 percent inflation this year, Hamilton said to reporters in Brasilia. The number could come in above or below that, he said.
Brazil targets inflation of 4.5 percent plus or minus two percentage points.
