Salgado Says Doesn’t Expect Lottery IPO to Resume This Year

Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Finance Minister Elena Salgado said she doesn’t expect the initial public offering of the state lottery to resume before next year, after the government pulled the deal today to “defend” the interests of the country.

Lost revenue from the cancellation of the sale isn’t “significant,” in terms of the impact on bond issuance, she told Cadena Ser in an interview today.
