Norway Banks May Need $9 Billion to Boost Capital, FSA Says

Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Norway’s largest lenders may need 30 billion kroner to 50 billion kroner ($9 billion) in external funds to meet an “ambitious” strenghtening of core capital by 2 percent by 2013, Norway’s financial regulator said in a report today, citing its own calculations.
