EU Sets Nov. 3 Deadline for J&J, Synthes Merger Review

Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Johnson & Johnson asked the European Union to approve its plan to buy Synthes Inc.
The European Commission in Brussels set an initial deadline of Nov. 3 to rule on the deal, according to a filing on the EU’s website today.
