Bayer Reaches Agreement on Brazilian Hybrid Rice License Rights

Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Bayer CropScience reached an agreement granting it exclusive worldwide license rights to the rice breeding program of the Brazilian company Fazenda Ana Paula, the company said in an e-mailed statement today. Bayer CropScience said the agreement will enable it to expand its breeding capability and development of hybrid rice for Brazil and expand its business in that area.
