Australian Government Commissions Project to Look at Asia Region

Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- The Australian government has today commissioned a so-called white paper on “Australia in the Asian Century,” according to a statement from Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
“The white paper will provide a national blueprint for Australia at a time of transformative economic growth and change in Asia,” the statement said. Ken Henry, a former secretary to the Treasury, will lead the project, it said.
