Korea Zinc Falls After Gold, Silver Prices Plunge

Sept. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Korea Zinc Co. retreated as much as 9.2 percent in Seoul trading after gold capped the biggest two- day plunge since 1983 and silver sank. Korea Zinc, which produces the precious metals, fell to 312,000 won as of 9:20 a.m. on the Korea Exchange. The benchmark Kospi Index added 0.3 percent.
