September 25, 2011

Sept. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Greece’s “difficult and tough” budget measures made a “very positive impression” at the International Monetary Fund’s annual meeting in Washington, Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos said in an e-mailed statement today.

“All have been convinced that Greece understands the situation,” Venizelos said after holding talks with International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde and European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet.
