Sept. 26 (Bloomberg) -- The euro erased earlier gains against the euro as Asian shares opened lower.
The 17-nation euro traded at $1.3494 as of 9:12 a.m. in Tokyo from $1.35 in New York on Sept. 23, after earlier rising to $1.3583. It traded at 103.59 yen from 103.40 yen in New York.
The MXAP Asia Pacific Index of shares lost 0.2 percent.
