Oil Pares Gains in New York After IMF Cuts U.S. Growth Forecasts

Sept. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Crude oil pared gains in New York after the International Monetary Fund lowered its forecast for U.S. growth this year and next.

Oil for October delivery fell 1 cent to $85.69 a barrel at 9:41 a.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Earlier the contract rose as much as 1.4 percent.
