Tanzania’s Inflation Rate Rose to 14.1% in August, Agency Says

Sept. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Tanzania’s annual inflation accelerated to 14.1 in August from 13 percent in July, the statistics office said.

Prices rose 1.4 percent in the month, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement handed to reporters today in Dar es Salaam, the commercial capital.
