Botswana Inflation Rate Rose to 8.7% in August, Agency Says

Sept. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Botswana’s inflation rate rose to 8.7 percent in August from 7.8 percent in the previous month, the statistics office said.

Prices increased 1 percent in the month, the Central Statistics Office, based in the capital, Gaborone, said in an e- mailed statement today.
