Sept. 13 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. is seeking to improve its relations with Zimbabwe and will work with the country to benefit its people, the U.S. embassy said.
The U.S. is focusing on boosting tourism and trade between the countries and will host a half-day business seminar on Zimbabwe during a U.S.-Africa summit in Washington in October, the embassy in the southern African country said in an e-mailed statement today, after Ambassador Charles Ray met with Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.
