Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Oil climbed in New York, rebounding from an earlier decline of as much as 2.6 percent. Crude for October delivery gained 75 cents, or 0.9 percent, to $87.99 a barrel at 10:11 a.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
