Noda Names Edano as Japan’s Trade Minister, Replacing Hachiro

Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Japan’s Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda named Yukio Edano as his new trade minister, replacing Yoshio Hachiro who stepped down on Sept. 10 for gaffes related to the Fukushima nuclear crisis.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura made the announcement today at a press conference in Tokyo.
