South Africa’s Rand Strengthens Most This Month Against Dollar

Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The rand appreciated the most this month against the dollar, erasing an earlier drop.

The currency of Africa’s biggest economy strengthened as much as 1 percent, the biggest intraday gain since Aug. 31, to 7.0584 per dollar and traded 0.7 percent up at 7.0843 by 10:18 a.m. in Johannesburg.
