Mozambique’s Maputo Inflation Rate Rose to 7.9% in August

Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Inflation in Mozambique’s capital, Maputo, accelerated to 7.9 percent in August from 7.7 percent in the previous month, the statistics office said.

The national inflation rate increased to 10.8 percent from 10.2 percent in the same period, the Maputo-based National Statistics Institute said on its website today.
