TSMC’s Chang Says Weakening Economy Will Affect Chip Market

Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Morris Chang said his customers’ confidence in the global economy has weakened.
A weakening global economy will impact the chip market, Chang said in Taipei without providing data. TSMC hasn’t revised its forecasts and will update investors next month, he said.
