Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Standard Chartered Plc has pushed out its forecast for an increase in South African interest rates to May 2012 from November, said Razia Khan, head of Africa economic research at the bank.
Weaker domestic growth and concerns about the global economy “will be sufficient justification to delay that normalization of rates for some time,” Khan said in an e-mail today.
