Brazil Second Quarter Economy Rises 0.8% From Previous Quarter

Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Brazil’s economy expanded 0.8 percent in the second quarter from the previous three-month period, the national statistics agency said today in Rio de Janeiro.

Gross domestic product rose 3.1 percent from a year earlier.
