U.S. House Republicans Ask White House for Documents on Solyndra

Sept. 1 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. House Republicans asked the White House to provide “all communications” about the Energy Department’s $535 million loan guarantee for Solyndra Inc., a maker of solar modules that said it will file for bankruptcy.

Republicans set Sept. 12 for the Obama administration to respond, House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton of Michigan and Representative Cliff Stearns of Florida said today in a letter to Kathryn Ruemmler, counsel to President Barack Obama.
