Aug. 30 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies’ shares may have unusual moves in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index climbed 1.2 percent to 228.28. The Stoxx 50 Index rose 0.8 percent to 2,157.85. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index, a benchmark measure for nations using the euro, advanced 2.2 percent to 2,239.30.
AuFeminin.com SA (FEM FP): The operator of Internet sites said first-half net income rose to 5.61 million euros from 4.87 million euros a year earlier. The shares rose 4.2 percent to 15.63 euros.
HighCo (HCO FP): The marketing and communications consultant said first-half net income declined to 5.66 million euros from 6.57 million euros. The shares were unchanged at 7.50 euros.
Vodafone Group Plc (VOD LN): The mobile telephone company has begun talks about a potential combination of its Greek unit with Wind Hellas Telecommunications SA to take on market leader Cosmote Mobile Telecommunications SA, controlled by Deutsche Telekom AG. The stock dropped 0.6 percent to 161.90 pence.
