Google to Pay $500 Million to Settle Online Drug Ad Probe

Aug. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Google Inc. agreed to pay $500 million to settle U.S. allegations that it allowed online Canadian pharmacies to place advertising resulting in the illegal importation of drugs, the Justice Department said today.
