Vodafone New Zealand Agrees to Take Capacity on Pacific Cable

Aug. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Vodafone Group Plc agreed to a 10- year deal to take capacity on a new undersea fiber cable linking New Zealand, Australia and the U.S.
The cable is being developed by Pacific Fibre Ltd. and is scheduled to open in 2014, Vodafone’s New Zealand unit said in an e-mailed statement.
