South African Increases Gasoline Price 1.7% From Aug. 3

July 29 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa’s gasoline price will increase by 1.7 percent on Aug. 3, the Department of Energy said.

Gasoline will rise 17 cents a liter to 10.09 rand in Gauteng province, the Pretoria-based department said in an e- mailed statement today. Diesel will climb as much as 15 cents a liter.
