July 29 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa posted a budget surplus of 12.6 billion rand ($145 million) in June, compared with surplus of 8.9 billion rand in the same month a year earlier, the National Treasury said.
Tax revenue increased 10 percent to 82.2 billion rand from a year earlier, while expenditure rose 6 percent to 69.6 billion rand, the Pretoria-based Treasury said on its website today.
