Turkey Sells 2.1 Billion Liras 2013, 2020 Bonds Before Auctions

July 19 (Bloomberg) -- The Turkish Treasury sold a net 1.44 billion liras ($870 million) of benchmark two-year bonds and 674 million liras of nine-year fixed-coupon bonds in non-competitive sales ahead of two auctions to be held later today.

The Treasury in Ankara made 870 million liras of the total sale to public institutions. Bids from primary dealer banks totalled 16.4 billion liras for the May 2013 bonds and 848 million liras for the January 2020 debt.
