Guinea Seeks $78 Million to Improve Conakry’s Electricity Supply

July 14 (Bloomberg) -- Guinea is seeking funding of $78 million to improve the electricity supply in the capital, Conakry, according to Energy Minister Papa Koly Kourouma.

“Talks are in progress with partners, after obtaining $30 million” from the Economic Community of West African States, he told reporters yesterday in Conakry, without giving further details.
