Dollar Falls Versus Euro After S&P Puts U.S. on Downgrade Review

July 15 (Bloomberg) -- The dollar declined against the euro, yen and swiss franc after Standard & Poor’s put the U.S.’s AAA rating on review for a possible downgrade.

The greenback slid to $1.4194 as of 8:42 a.m. in Tokyo from $1.4143 yesterday in New York. It fell 0.3 percent to 78.92 yen and weakened 0.5 percent versus the Swiss franc to 81.23 centimes.
