(Finance Ministry Corrects Statement to Say Mission in Country Through July 27)
July 13 (Bloomberg) -- Portugal’s Finance Ministry said a technical assistance mission including officials from the International Monetary Fund, European Commission and the European Central Bank is scheduled between July 13 and 27.
The mission aims to provide technical support to Portuguese authorities in implementing structural reforms in the area of public finances, taking into account the commitments assumed by Portugal as part of the financial aid program, the ministry said today in an e-mailed statement.
Procedures for preparing and executing the state budget, for reporting and sharing information and for monitoring the main risks to budget execution will be analyzed, the statement said.
