Aussie, Kiwi Strengthen as Asian Stock Gains Boost Yield Demand

July 13 (Bloomberg) -- The Australian and New Zealand dollars strengthened as gains in Asian shares boosted demand for higher-yielding assets.

The so-called Aussie climbed 0.3 percent to $1.0626 as of 10:42 a.m. in Sydney from yesterday in New York. The kiwi rose 0.6 percent to 82.28 U.S. cents.
