Obama Says Jobs Report Shows U.S. Has ‘Long Way to Go’

July 8 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama said the report on unemployment in the U.S. today shows that “we still have a long way to go and a lot of work to do.”

The president spoke in the Rose Garden about the Labor Department report showing unemployment in June rose to 9.2 percent from 9.1 percent. “We still have a big hole to fill,” the president said.
