July 8 (Bloomberg) -- Amtrak and New Jersey Transit resumed regular service after a disruption caused by a trespasser fatality in Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Amtrak restarted operations between New York and Philadelphia while New Jersey Transit resumed service at the Metuchen station, the two railroads said in separate statements.
