July 7 (Bloomberg) -- Samsung Electronics Co., the world’s largest maker of televisions, posted second-quarter operating profit of 3.7 trillion won, compared with 5.01 trillion won a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing today.

The average of 25 analysts’ estimates compiled by Bloomberg was for operating profit of 3.8 trillion won.
