N.Y. Oil Declines 0.3% to $96.58 a Barrel, Erasing Early Gain

July 6 (Bloomberg) -- Crude oil declined on the New York Mercantile Exchange, reversing an earlier gain of 0.9 percent. Crude for August delivery fell 31 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $96.58 a barrel at 10:10 a.m.
