Crude Oil Erases Gain in New York as Euro Weakens Against Dollar

July 6 (Bloomberg) -- Crude oil erased gains in New York as the euro weakened against the dollar. Oil for August delivery was down 8 cents at $96.81 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 8:47 a.m. London time, after rising as high as $97.89. The euro was down 0.4 percent at $1.4372.
