U.S. Stocks Decline as Moody’s Cuts Portugal Rating to Junk

July 5 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks fell after Moody’s Investors Service cut Portugal’s bond ratings to junk and American factory orders trailed economists’ forecasts.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index dropped 0.1 percent to 1,337.82 at 2:06 p.m. in New York. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.1 percent to 12,566.04.
