African Tea Prices Climb ‘Substantially’ at Auction, Broker Says

July 5 (Bloomberg) -- African tea prices increased “substantially” at an auction held today in the Kenyan port city of Mombasa, tea broker James Finlay (Mombasa) Ltd. said.

“Demand was strong and prices for good quality teas were substantially dearer,” the broker said in an e-mailed report today.
