Zambian Antitrust Authority Approves Copperbelt, Liquid Accord

July 1 (Bloomberg) -- Zambia’s antitrust authority approved the proposed creation of a joint venture between Copperbelt Energy Corp. and Liquid Telecommunications Holdings Ltd. of Mauritius.

“The transaction did not raise competition concerns in the fiber optic market,” the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of Zambia said in an e-mailed statement today.
