Evraz Highveld Steel Slides to Lowest Since December 2004

July 1 (Bloomberg) -- Evraz Highveld Steel and Vanadium Ltd. declined the most in more than three months to the lowest since Dec. 10, 2004.

The stock slid as much as 26 percent, the steepest intraday drop since March 17, to 40 rand and was trading at 47.24 rand as of 3:20 p.m. in Johannesburg. The company is not aware of any reasons for the fall in its stock and is trying to get more information, spokeswoman Cathie Lewis said by phone.
