June 29 (Bloomberg) -- The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index pared its third straight gain, with energy, financial and technology companies trimming their advance the most in the past half hour.
The S&P 500 climbed 0.6 percent to 1,304.22 at 2:16 p.m. in New York after increasing as much as 1 percent after Greece passed austerity measures, pending home sales climbed and Monsanto Co.’s sales beat estimates.
