Nigerian President Proposes Commodity Tax for Africa

June 29 (Bloomberg) -- Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan proposed a continent-wide tax on commodities in Africa to help fund investment in infrastructure.

Africa needs to coordinate on its tax policies, Jonathan told an African Union conference in Equatorial Guinea today.
