Namibian Business Confidence Declines in May, Survey Shows

June 29 (Bloomberg) -- Namibian companies’ optimism about the outlook for business deteriorated in May after inflation accelerated for a third month, metals prices fell and vehicle sales decreased, a survey showed.

The Namibia Business Climate Index dropped 0.2 points to 110.9 from a month earlier, the Windhoek-based Institute of Public Policy Research and IJG Securities Ltd., which conducted the survey, said in an e-mailed statement today.
