June 29 (Bloomberg) -- Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd., Transnet SOC Ltd., South African Airways Ltd. and other state-owned companies plan to create more than 130,000 jobs within the next three to five years, Business Report said.
Power utility Eskom plans to create 100,000 jobs, the Johannesburg-based newspaper said, citing Chief Commercial Officer Dan Marokane. Ports and freight rail operator Transnet aims to create almost 30,000 jobs, Business Report said, citing Chief Executive Officer Brian Molefe.
South African Airways, the state-owned airline, aims to create 1,615 jobs, the newspaper said, without citing anyone.
